Hillside Bed and Breakfast – 100% across the board!
Oct 23, 2006
There are only so many ways to describe excellent, but those who
have experienced the hospitality at Hillside Bed and Breakfast (B&B),
Isle of Barra are keen to try.
The
B&B has received dozens of Who Cares Wins feedback cards and
to date has never been marked as anything other than excellent.
Comments include, “fantastic host”, “excellent
hospitality” and has even been described on several cards
as the “best B&B we have ever stayed in”
Who
Cares Wins feedback cards have been distributed to organisations
throughout the Outer Hebrides, which provide the key to how they
can improve their customers’ experience when visiting their
establishments.
This
is an outstanding result and thus far Hillside B&B is the only
business to have received this score in every aspect of service.
The seven questions on the card ask for a score on the welcome,
the helpfulness of the people you dealt with, the knowledge of the
people you dealt with, the efficiency of service, the quality of
the products, the quality of service and the overall impression.
Hillside
B&B opened in July this year and Doreen MacNeil, the owner of
Hillside B&B was happy to have received this fantastic feedback.
The
results for the entire Outer Hebrides will soon be made available
for all businesses and organisations, as well as their own individual
results. Lisa Maclean, Who Cares Wins Project Co-ordinator, commented:
“The cards have been on display for almost six months now
and some interesting patterns have been emerging. It will be useful
for businesses to see what experience they are offering their customers
and also to see how this sits with the overall results for the area.”
The
feedback from the cards have already allowed the Who Cares Wins
team to work with a number of businesses to make improvements and
it is hoped the cards will be used throughout the quieter season
to allow those businesses to gauge if they are moving in the right
direction.
